The Zonal Valve Box is designed to allow targeted isolation of a gas distribution network within a healthcare facility. It allows maintenance work or emergency shut-off of medical gas supply for wards, operating theatres, or departments, without disrupting gas flow to the rest of the facility.

This targeted isolation is crucial for patient safety and system reliability, enabling prompt response during incidents and facilitating repairs or upgrades in one zone while keeping other zones operational.

The unit consists of full-bore ball valves to shutoff or restore the flow of gas in the pipeline to allow for immediate shutdowns in case of emergency, in accordance with ISO 7396-1.

  • Installed at the floors to intercept the areas of healthcare facilities according to the medical gas pipeline system design
  • Full bore valves allow maximum flow with minimal restriction, ensuring high flow rates in gas distribution systems.
  • Valves are securely enclosed in durable 18-gauge steel boxes, providing protection and safety for critical gas control systems.
  • A lockable frame with a transparent window ensures clear visibility while maintaining security in gas control systems.
