Digital Area Gas Alarm

ZONAL DEVICES

In healthcare facilities, the integrity and reliability of the medical gas supply is paramount to patient safety. The Area Gas Alarm is designed to monitor the pipeline pressure within the facility. Securely housed in a sturdy enclosure to prevent unauthorised access; and a user-friendly interface for operating, re-configuration or servicing by authorised medical gas personnel.

Designed with real-time pressure readout on the display panel and programmed to raise alerts, both visual and auditory, when abnormal pressure is detected, as per the recommendations of ISO 7396-1 and HTM 02-01 standards.

ACE Medical Gas Alarms are designed for continuous monitoring of pipeline pressure and provide immediate alarm indication in case of abnormal pressure, in accordance with ISO 7396-1.
  • Quick Installation Factory-configured unit for ready installation.
  • User-Friendly Interface Intuitive interface allows for easy setup and reconfiguration of alarm thresholds if needed.
  • Pressure Gauges Pressure gauges provide real-time visual status of pressure levels.
  • Visual Indicators Visual alarm indication through colour-coded LEDs to provide a clear and immediate visual alert of any issues.
  • Auditory Indicators An audible alarm is triggered when gas levels deviate from the set thresholds or in case of a system fault.
  • Continuous Monitoring The system is designed to provide continuous, 24/7 monitoring of gas levels and system performance.

Please refer to the User Manual for more details.
  •
The alarm is triggered under the following conditions:
  1. Pressure deviation beyond 20% of the nominal distribution pressure
  2. Faulty pressure sensors

  • TEST Button
To check the operational status of visual and auditory indicators, press once and observe for any non-functioning indicators.

  • MUTE Button
     To acknowledge alarm, press once.

  1. The alarm is automatically restored in 15 minutes in case of an unresolved alarm.
  2. The alarm immediately resets in case of new alarm event.
